EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

Valley Wide Cooperative & Valley Agronomics (VWC & Valley AG) offer a comprehensive benefits package which helps employees, and their families live better. We understand the importance of having multiple options to allow employees to choose the plans that best match their needs.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

The EAP is a company paid benefit and is available to you following your date of hire. EAP provides confidential counseling on a wide range of issues for financial, legal, and personal matters.

LONG-TERM DISABILITY

The Long-Term Disability program provides continuing income if you are sick or totally disabled from work for more than six months. The benefit is 60% of your annualized base pay, prior to your disability, up to $10,000.

LIFE INSURANCE

BASIC LIFE AND ACCIDENTAL DEATH & DISMEMBERMENT (AD&D)
Both plans are offered. Eligible employees can receive up to 1½ x salary or a maximum of $200,000;minimum of $50,000 coverage.

SUPPLEMENTAL BENEFITS

Employee Paid Supplemental benefits available through MetLife; Supplemental Life Insurance for yourself and your dependents, Critical Illness Coverage, Accident Coverage, MetLaw.

HOLIDAY BENEFITS

VWC & Valley Ag have 6 paid holidays per calendar year; New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

RETIREMENT 401(k) PLAN

VWC & Valley Ag will match your contribution equal to 100% of your deferrals up to 6% of compensation. You are immediately 100% vested in your401(k) account. Waiting period varies based on employee classification.

What is Earned Wage Access?

On-demand Pay. Access to a portion of your earned payroll before payday.
